Born from the belief that actionable

design can be used as a tool for social advocacy, Plúvita is an exercise in design

research and participatory design, with the ultimate objective of empowering vulnerable communities towards a better quality of life. This project addresses the clean water crisis that a community in the outskirts of Bogotá

is facing, and how design can help with producing alternative solutions by

reusing local resources

in unexpected ways.
